There’s a great American Air direct flight from Phoenix to Loreto, but prices vary! Another option is getting to Otay Mesa, CA… (you can park your car there), crossing the border with CBX Express (spits you into the Tijuana airport) and flying on Volaris direct to Loreto.  CBX offers travelers in and out of the Tijuana airport border access through a tunnel that connects underground to the airport. It’s about $18 and easy to do (especially coming back if you have Global Entry!)

WHERE WE GOLFED

*It can be a little pricey, but if you’re a golfer, TPC Danzante Bay is an incredible experience. Make sure you find pro Danny Garcia and say hi. Also – the fact that they rent PXG clubs was a bonus!

CATAMARAN FUN!

We’ve used ABT-Sailing now twice. Jorge and his crew make homemade ceviche and will take you just about anywhere. Great for a day trip, or sunset cruise.

WORTH GOING INTO TOWN

I LOVE El Zopilote Brewing Company for drinks and a meal. There is also a charming, boutique hotel we stayed at last time run by the same owners. Both are right in the adorable town square!
